Leeuwarden is a finalist (!) and, along with 4 other cities, in the running to become Youth Capital in 2028. Young people (12 to 27 years old) are in the lead. We are working on a renewed bid, with a strong focus on the vision and strength of young people. The foundation is already laid from the first phase, and now it's time to dive deeper, bring it all together, and make an impact.
